Kiosk NO 1 (Kiosk Kohvik), Tallinn

Overview

We have been to Kiosk NO 1 a few times now after discovering it when staying at the Park Inn Hotel and we just love this place. We have been for cocktails and drinks a few times, and twice for a coffee in the morning, so we cannot talk about the food, but this cozy and unique place is a must visit!

Atmosphere & Dog-Policy/Welcomeness

Kiosk NO 1 is an amazingly cute and nostalgic dog-friendly small business offering coffees, pastries and snacks, and alcoholic drinks from a converted kiosk. In summer, there is a lovely area with outside seating, albeit close to the main road, and the inside, while small is lovely and also welcomes dogs. On all our visits, the staff have been friendly and welcoming.

Drinks

They offer a limited selection of bottled/canned beers, spirits and cocktails along with a few wines by the glass (and perhaps bottle). We have enjoyed a bottled beer (Czeck), a couple of excellent Negronis, and a gin on the rocks. Also, I had an excellent flat white on a couple mornings. All the drinks were well served and reasonably priced, so we were very happy to have found this place.

Summary

If you and your furry friends find yourself in this part of town, for example, if you are staying at the von Stackelberg or Radison hotel, or planning on going to Pööbel, then Kiosk NO 1 is highly recommended. This kioski serving excellent drinks and service outside the centre of Tallinn is perfect for a drink after a walk in the park or before or after going out for dinner, but it is equally worth making it your primary destination, especially as it is owned and operated by the professional and friendly young staff.

Kiosk NO 1 is located outside of the city centre, just a minute or two walk from the von Stackelberg Hotel, Park Inn Hotel by Radisson, and the Pööbell pub.
