This vibrant, dog-friendly pizza and craft beer spot is one of our favourite places in Tampere. Specialising in creative sourdough pizzas and offering an impressive range of beers, wines, and cocktails, it delivers both quality and atmosphere. We’ve visited several times and have yet to be disappointed.
Atmosphere & Dog-Friendliness
The space is relaxed, welcoming, and spacious enough for dogs—ours always gets treats and a warm welcome. The young staff are friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about their work, creating a great all-round vibe.
Food
Pizzas are the sole focus here—no starters or sides—but they’re outstanding. The sourdough base is thin yet chewy with a perfect crust, and the toppings are fresh, well-balanced, and thoughtfully selected. We’ve tried several from the menu and seasonal specials, with the Chilipizza (featuring nduja sausage and roasted peppers) being one of our favourites. You can even request a half-and-half pizza to share.
Drink
The drink selection is excellent, with a huge range of draft, bottled, and canned beers—from classic styles to rare craft brews—as well as well-made cocktails and a small but good wine list. Wines by the glass pair nicely with the food, and staff are happy to make recommendations.
Summary
If you’re after top-quality pizza, a fantastic drink selection, great service, and a relaxed, dog-friendly setting, Sitko is hard to beat. The food is consistently great, the service warm and professional, and the experience always feels a bit special. Very highly recommended.
