Hotel Adria, Munich

We have only been to the Hotel Adria once in May 2022, and while we have no complaints (as we knew what we were getting), it is a fairly basic hotel. Nevertheless, the staff were friendly and helpful, it is dog-friendly, and is in a great location. Therefore, if you are looking for a well-positioned no-frills dog-friendly hotel in Munich at a reasonable, then Hotel Adria is a solid choice, but if you want a bit more comfort and modernity, then maybe check out other options.

The rooms are basic but spacious and comfortable, with clean linen, hot showers, and good WiFi etc. The room had a mini-fridge (unstocked) and a kettle (no coffee or tea bags) but was not air-conned, instead, there were a couple fans. The reception area has a small stock of soft and alcoholic beverages, plus some snacks. There is also a restaurant in the building serving a buffet breakfast, but we did not try it.

All up, we have no complaints, especially given the comparatively reasonable price and great location. It had everything we needed (but with no frills and was quite dated), it is close to tram and bus stops so easy to get around town, and it is near the fantastic “English Garden”, so easy to walk our dog.

In summary, if you are looking for a well-positioned no-frills dog-friendly hotel in Munich at a comparatively reasonable, then Hotel Adria is a solid choice.
