Tasca Portuguesa is a lovely dog-friendly Portuguese restaurant in Tallinn’s old town with great service, delicious food at reasonable prices, and a comfortable yet modern ambiance.
On our only visit so far, we had a great evening and enjoyed many very well-prepared dishes and some good drinks. For example, we had some very light and fluffy Bacalhau (salt cod) croquettes, a very interesting and unique Bacalhau chickpea salad (houmous 3.0), and a perfectly cooked rump steak. However, the standout dish for us was the Bacalhau main course served with fried onions and potatoes.
In addition to the food, we enjoyed some well-kept draft beers and a couple of excellent glasses of Portuguese red wine.
All the food and drinks were reasonably priced with the bill being €108.
While we enjoyed quite a few dishes, they have a very extensive menu, thus we are looking forward to going back to try some more of their delicious-sounding offerings. All in all, Tasca Portuguesa is a very highly recommended dog-friendly option for those looking for a Mediterranean experience whilst in Tallinn.
