This is a very comfortable pizza place that offers a great selection of original and interesting pizzas along with a good selection of draft and bottled beers, wines by the glass or bottle, and various cocktails and spirits. I think they also offer speciality coffees, but we did not try them. The staff were very friendly and helpful and welcomed our dog.
The restaurant focuses on their pizzas and thus does not offer starters, sides, or main courses, but the quality of the pizzas made us think that they made a good decision! There is a wide selection of interesting pizzas (about 18 regular pizzas plus the pizza of the week) or you can build your own. As we have only been here once so far, we can only testify to the quality of the two excellent pizzas we enjoyed, but the place smelled fantastic, so I am sure they are all great.
There were so many delicious sounding pizzas to choose from it took us a while to order, but in the end, we went for the Purgatorio (€14.50) and Diavola (€15), both of which were excellent. The Purgatorio was a tomato sauce pizza with cheese, tuna, red onion, chilli oil, and arugula. The Diavola was made up of tomato sauce, mozzarella, Nduja Picante salami, chilli oil, garlic, and fresh basil.
Given the quality, the pizzas were excellent value in our opinion and were very similar to Sitko in Tampere. Both pizzas had a great base (thin but not too thin, chewy but not doughy, and a really nice crust), a delicious tangy tomato sauce base, and high quality and well-prepared ingredients for the toppings.
In addition to the food, we had a couple of very good draft beers and an excellent glass of wine. I cannot remember the exact price of the drinks, but I think the beers were around €7 or €8 (half a litre) and I believe the glass of wine was around €9.
All in all, the food was excellent, great drinks, and the service was relaxed but very friendly and efficient. We will most definitely be going back at some point; very highly recommended.
