Overview

On the other end of town from Pub Simon and Sailor’s, this is another comfortable and relaxing dog-friendly pub in Tampere that offers a limited selection of draft beers and ciders, plenty of bottled and canned beers, spirits, some cocktails, and wines by the glass or bottle.

Atmosphere and Dog-Friendliness

This is a very comfortable dog-friendly pub which leans towards British pub style. There is plenty of space inside and limited tables on the terrace in summer. Comfortable, clean, and friendly staff.

Food and Drinks

The pub does not offer food, but you can bring your own food from nearby restaurants with you if you wish. For example, there are couple of places on either side offering pizzas and burgers etc. and there is a Siipieikot (wings) just up the road.

We have only tried the Sandels draft beer which were cold, clean and crisp and cost around. But as noted above, the pub offers a good selection of draft, bottles and canned beers plus spirits and wines.

Summary

If you are looking for a relaxing place for a drink or two, with or without your furry friend, Sisko ja sen Veli is a good option. We are happy to have another dog-friendly pub in Tampere to visit.
