On the other end of town from Pub Simon and Sailor’s, this is another comfortable and relaxing dog-friendly pub in Tampere that offers a limited selection of draft beers and ciders, plenty of bottled and canned beers, spirits, some cocktails, and wines by the glass or bottle. The pub does not offer food, but you can bring your own food from nearby restaurants with you if you wish.
The inside of the pub has a relaxing and cosy atmosphere which is very welcoming on a cold winter’s day or night. In the summer, they have a small terrace outside, which offers a nice place for a bit of people watching.
We have only tried the Sandels draft beer which were cold, clean and crisp and cost around €7 for half a litre. But as noted above, the pub offers a good selection of draft, bottles and canned beers plus spirits and wines.
If you are looking for a relaxing place for a drink or two, with or without your furry friend, Sisko ja sen Veli is a good option. We are happy to have another dog-friendly pub in Tampere to visit.
